Dr Eleanor Mallon is a Consultant Dermatologist at St Mary’s Hospital, London where she is clinical lead for the Skin Cancer Service. She is also Head of Dermatology Specialty across Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust Hospitals at Hammersmith Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital. She was previously a Consultant Dermatologist at Croydon University Hospital and Honorary Consultant Dermatologist at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, St Thomas’ Hospital (1999-2016).
Eleanor is a very experienced dermatologist with expertise in the diagnosis and management of all types of skin conditions in children and adults. Her clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of skin cancer and diseases of the anogenital region in men and women. She is a member of the Clinical Standards Unit of the British Association of Dermatologists and is involved in writing National guidelines for the management of skin disease.
Eleanor's undergraduate and postgraduate training in Medicine was in London. She trained as a dermatologist in London at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and St John’s Institute of Dermatology and in Oxford at the Churchill Hospital. She was awarded an MD Research Degree in 1999 by the University of London for her research into the pathogenesis of psoriasis. She obtained her certificate of completion of specialist training in dermatology (CCST) from the Royal College of Physicians in 1999 and is fully registered with the General Medical Council.
