Personal profile

Mrs Emma Daldorph qualified in 2003 from the University of Surrey with a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition and Dietetics and state registration as a Dietitian.

She initially worked at Mid Essex NHS Trust until 2004, where she gained extensive experience in dealing with oncology and upper gastrointestinal surgical patients requiring nutrition support in the form of either oral, enteral or parental nutrition.

She then developed her career with Bromley PCT where she worked with the adult service for 2 years undertaking nutritional assessments for patients in their own homes requiring nutrition support and home enteral feeding. In 2007 she moved to the paediatric team and is now a specialist paediatric Dietitian seeing children for a range of conditions including home enteral feeding, allergy, faltering growth, and fussy eating.

Mrs Daldorph started working for BMI at Chelsfield Park Hospital in 2007 and is part of the bariatric team providing dietetic assessments for patients following gastric band placement and gastric bypass.  She maintains effective relationships with the consultants at BMI and has continued to review and assess patients frequently since joining. She has also offered dietary advice for gastroenterology, diabetes, and nutrition support and milk allergy in children.

She maintains and continues to update her knowledge and expertise in dietetics through regular workshops, study days and courses to ensure that her services are always of BMI standards.
