Personal Profile

Mr Chinegwundoh has over 20 years’ experience of consultant practice.  He is recognised for his expertise in prostate cancer, clinically prostate brachytherapy and academically prostate cancer research. In addition, he has had international research collaborations.

In 2002, Mr Chinegwundoh was a visiting Professor of UNTH, Enugu.  He is chair of the Prostate Cancer Advisory Group in the UK which reports to the government on prostate cancer issues.  He is also an executive chairman of the charity Cancer Black Care, which supports black and ethnic minority cancer sufferers.

In 2013, Mr Chinegwundoh was recognised by the Queen of England by the MBE honour for his contribution to the National Health Service.

He is considered popular within his field of work. His website has Health on the Net accreditation. In 2016, he was filmed by the BBC in Abuja on prostate matters for subsequent transmission in London.

Furthermore, he is a trainer for aspiring urology consultants and examines for the specialist examination in urology, the FRCS (Urology).
