Professional Profile

Dr Inyang graduated with a degree in Medicine at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital in Nigeria in 1999. Following that he undertook post graduate training in the West of Scotland in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a focus on advanced gynaecological surgical practice for benign and malignant conditions and gynaecological minimal access surgery.

Dr Inyang has been a Consultant Gynaecologist in the NHS since 2012 and his main clinical interests have been in the management of benign and malignant gynaecological conditions within the West of Scotland Managed Cancer Network for gynaecological cancers.

He obtained a post graduate diploma in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy from the University of Surrey in 2016 and is an experienced laparoscopic surgeon involved in the management of conditions like endometriosis, menorrhagia, fibroids, ovarian cysts and other pelvic conditions that require gynaecological input via a laparoscopic approach. He is a member of the British Society of gynaecological Endoscopists. He undertakes keyhole surgery in investigating pelvic conditions including diagnostic laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, performs treatment like hysterectomies via laparoscopic and open approaches and undertakes consultations for most gynaecological conditions.

Dr Inyang is a trained Colposcopist and a registered member of the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). He undertakes cervical screening and colposcopic treatment for pre-cancerous cervical changes.
