Mr Fulvio Urso-Baiarda

Fulvio Urso-Baiarda is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon with an NHS and private practice in Berkshire; a leading authority on Plastic Surgery and a sought after public speaker. He completed his medical degree at Oxford University, his Plastic Surgery training between Yorkshire and Australia and his Cosmetic Surgery training in London and New York. Fulvio has won numerous prizes for his work spanning diverse topics from medical science to trauma research. 

Examples include the BAPRAS Kay-Kilner Prize for Evidence-Based Plastic Surgery, the BAPRAS Barron Prize for advancing a painless suture removal technique for children and the prestigious BAAPS Travelling Fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery. His clinical and research interests include limb reconstruction, nerve regeneration and wound healing, for which he is frequently approached for advice by industry pioneers. Fulvio has published extensively in medical, scientific and plastic surgery journals over the last two decades and serves on the editorial board for two medical journals. He is the editor of the popular aesthetic textbook “Evidence-Based Cosmetic Surgery”.
