Mr Singer is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 15 years’ experience in the field of hip and knee replacements and revisions. Educated locally at Bradfield College Berkshire, he graduated from The Royal London Hospital in 1985 and trained at University College Hospital London, and then the London North West Thames registrar-SR rotation. His training was completed by a lower limb arthroplasty fellowship at the UCLA in California in 1997.
Mr Singer specialises in primary hip replacement, hip resurfacing, revision hip surgery, as well as knee replacement and revision knee surgery.
He performs a relatively large number of both primary and revision hip replacements per year, which can be viewed on the National Joint Registry UK (NJR).
Mr Singer keeps up-to-date with the latest research and developments at the annual British Hip Society and he regularly presents original scientific papers/posters at these meetings. He reviews papers for the hip section of The Bone and Joint Journal (Br). His appraisal and revalidation is kept up-to-date through his work at the local NHS Trust. His personal development includes pursuing a high quality clinical practice, and continuing research in hip revision surgery, hip resurfacing and primary hip replacement.
