Miss Safiullina is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Vitreoretinal Surgeon at BMI Bath Clinic and The Ridgeway Hospital. Miss Safiullina´s current clinical research results were presented at the 56th Japanese Retinal and Vitreous Society Congress, Tokyo. She collaborates with the Gloucestershire Retinal Research Group and her research interests include Primary Success Rate of Rhegmatogenous Retinal Detachment surgery and Autologous Internal Limiting Membrane Transplantation for Refractory Macular Holes.

Miss Safiullina is also responsible for training the Consultant Vitreoretinal Surgeons of tomorrow, training Junior Ophthalmology Doctors and also Vitreoretinal Fellow Ophthalmologists at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
