Personal profile

Hany Gamal-Eldeen is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at The Great Western Hospital in Swindon, South West of England and at BMI The Ridgeway Hospital in Wroughton, Swindon. Mr Gamal-Eldeen has the privilege of having trained abroad and in UK. Mr Gamal-Eldeen’s special interest is in the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse and female urinary incontinence (Urogynaecology).

He also manages general gynaecological problems, heavy periods, management of fibroid, painful periods, pelvic pain, painful intercourse and painful bladder symptoms in addition to laparoscopic removal of uterus (LAVH), and ovarian cysts. He receives  excellent feedback from patients under his care.

Mr Gamal-Eldeen received his training in university hospitals in the North East and West Midlands. He supervises the training of doctors in training from Bristol and Oxford Deanery. Mr Gamal-Eldeen has developed teaching courses for the trainees in management of urinary symptoms, prolapse symptoms and other gynaecological problems, contributed in running workshops in international conferences. He has also developed courses in health care management and medical leadership.
