Personal Profile

Dr Eagleton is a Consultant Haematologist at The Chiltern and Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT).

She was appointed in 2003 and prior to this was a Specialist Registrar at John Radcliffe Oxford for 5 years. She was a junior doctor in London hospitals including Royal Marsden.
She has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of all Haematological disorders including leukaemia, myeloma, lymphoma, anaemia and thrombosis.

At BHT she currently holds a senior management role as Divisional Chair for Specialist Services. She has previously been Trust lead for clinical research and Programme Director for junior doctor training.

All aspects of Haematology. I care for patients with Haematological malignancies such as Myeloma, Lymphoma and Leukaemia - diagnosis and management, including prescribing and supervising chemotherapy.

I see patients with abnormal blood counts to diagnose and give advice regarding therapy - e.g. anaemias or other abnormal blood counts (high or low platelets or white cells); paraproteins or unexplained enlarged lymph nodes. I also give advice to patients and their doctors regarding thrombosis, anticoagulation and bleeding disorders
