Mr Roushdi qualified from Alexandria University in Egypt in 1975 and subsequently completed his orthopaedic training on the Hammersmith Hospital Rotation.
To date, he has completed over 2000 knee replacements as well as more than 1000 anterior ligament reconstructions. He also performs shoulder arthroscopy.
As well as being widely published, Mr Roushdi has also provided lectures internationally. He has developed a technique for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and was the orthopaedic surgeon for gold and silver-winning Commonwealth Games champions.
