Mr Pitman is a recognised specialist in the management of low back and leg pain from degenerative disc disease. His main specialist interest is the degenerate or worn out disc resulting in back and or leg pain (sciatica). He is able to advise on both non-operative and operative management of spinal problems. He regularly undertakes microsurgical operative techniques on the spine to relieve the pressure caused by “slipped discs”.
