Personal Profile
Dr Hafeez graduated in Lahore, Pakistan, and trained in Leeds prior to being appointed in the East Lancashire Hospital NHS Trust in 2001. He is currently the lead for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and asthma, and runs a difficult asthma clinic.
He also leads the tuberculosis and lung cancer clinics at the East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. He has been the clinical director for respiratory medicine previously, during which time he developed several specialist services including endobronchial ultrasound, sleep service and medical thoracoscopy.
