Personal Profile
As seen on the recent BBC2 documentary “Surgeons : At the edge of life” series, Ismail qualified from St Andrews and Manchester Universities before embarking upon his neurosurgical training at Nottingham. This was followed on by super-specialist training on the prestigious fellowship program at King’s College Hospital. He has been a consultant since 2015 and has extensive practice in the management of brain tumours, CSF pathology, trauma, epilepsy and pain. He has a busy teaching and training schedule and is GMC approved as an educational supervisor.
