Mr. James English is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals. He is also a visiting surgeon at the Bronovo Hospital in The Hague where he performs complex pelvic surgery and is on the regular teaching faculty at the European Surgical Institute in Hamburg. He is a Board Member and Faculty Member on the national MSc course in Advanced Gynaecological Laparoscopy at the University of Surrey.
From 1998 to 2010 Mr. English was a Consultant Gynaecologist at Worthing Hospital where he also served as Divisional Director for Women’s and Children’s Services. Mr. English studied at The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and subsequently trained at St. Bartholomew's and Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals before becoming a consultant. His main area of research is in severe endometriosis and its management and he has lectured and published widely in this area. A list of his publications may be seen on this website.
