Jeremy has gained extensive cardiology experience in a range of centres including The Royal Brompton, Hammersmith, Wythenshawe and St Georges Hospital. Whilst at St Georges he pursued his sub-specialist interest of coronary intervention, developing expertise in a wide range of advanced techniques. At the Royal Brompton Jeremy undertook a fellowship in cardiac MRI scanning and has previously completed accreditation in cardiac CT scanning.

Whilst undertaking his interventional fellowship Jeremy completed an LLM in Medical Law with Commendation. He has a strong interest in challenging coronary disease. He runs the local specialist chronic total occlusion service treating blood vessels that have been completely blocked for many months or years.

Jeremy has completed an MBA degree with Distinction, understanding that efficiently run services provide high levels of quality and safety for patients. In addition to developing angioplasty services at Calderdale and Huddersfield, he has previously been the lead for governance, lead for research in acute medical specialties and is actively involved in the teaching and supervision of doctors in training. As a high volume interventional cardiologist Jeremy enjoys challenging angioplasty and is regularly invited to be a faculty member at conferences, delivering talks at both regional and national meetings.
