Jeremy Latham trained in Oxford, Adelaide and Birmingham and is one of the few orthopaedic surgeons who does nothing but hip surgery. Jeremy provides a very personal service to all of his patients, and works closely with an excellent anaesthetist. Jeremy strives for perfection in every aspect of his work, from a straightforward hip replacement to complex revision surgery.
He is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Southampton, and in recent years has worked with engineers at the University carrying out research into the problems associated with some types of metal hip replacements. Jeremy has travelled the world presenting the results of his research and set up the Metal Hips Research Group in 2011. This influential group brings together surgeons, scientists and engineers all of whom are passionate about improving the results of hip surgery.
