Mr Greenwood completed his medical degree at University College London, before completing Ophthalmology training at the Western Eye Hospital, St Thomas’ Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. Mr Greenwood is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at the Hampshire Clinic as well as at the North Hampshire Hospital NHS Foundation trust.
Mr Greenwood completed fellowship training in Refractive Surgery and Anterior Segment Surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital. This specialist area includes cataract surgery, lens implant surgery for vision correction and PRELEX.
Mr Greenwood has a specialist interest in cataract surgery and refractive lens exchange surgery and has performed in excess of 6500 procedures. He offers lens exchange and implantation procedures to correct long sight, short sight, astigmatism and presbyopia. In PREsbyopic Lens EXchange (PRELEX), multifocal implants are used to correct the need for reading glasses, which most individuals require after the age of 45 to 50.
