I qualified at Nottingham in 1980. I spent a number of years training in General Surgery before entering Specialist training in Urology, gaining wide ranging experience in the major teaching hospitals of Bristol, Nottingham and Derby.
I was appointed to the post of Consultant Urologist in Swindon in 1992 – founding the Department of Urology at the BMI The Ridgeway Hospital and the Great Western Hospital. The department has developed and expanded to offer a comprehensive Urological service treating a complete spectrum of patients.
Available investigations & treatments include cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, adult and paediatric circumcision, orchidopexy, all types of scrotal surgery for all ages, minimally invasive stone therapy, the medical and surgical management of bladder cancer as well as vasectomy and its reversal.
I have a particular interest in female and male incontinence (medical therapy, Botulinum Toxin, TVT and reconstruction) and all types of cystitis.
