Mr Kelleher qualified at St Mary’s Hospital in1980. He did the FRCS in 1985, and Research at Institute of Child Health leading to MS Thesis in 1991. Mr Kelleher has held Senior Registrar posts at St Mary’s, Great Ormond St. Hospital for Sick Children, The Royal Marsden and St. Helier Hospital, Carshalton. He completed the FRCS (Urol) in 1993.
He was appointed Consultant Urologist to South Bucks NHS Trust in 1993 as the first dedicated Urological Surgeon. He designed and oversaw the development of the dedicated Urological Unit at Wycombe. Whilst forging the urological amalgamation of South and Mid Bucks in 2001, prior to formal trust merger in 2003.
Mr Kelleher is an Ex-Clinical Director in Surgery, MBBS and FRCS (Urol) Examiner, and Member Consultant Advisory Appointments Panel. He is also the Lead Clinician for Urological Cancer in Bucks, Regional Specialty advisor for Oxford 2005-08, Regional Advisor for South Central 2008-11 and Member of Council British Association Urological Surgeons 2008 – 11.
Mr Kelleher’s interests are in Urological Cancer particularly prostate cancer, general urology and male health, paediatric urology, reconstruction including vasectomy reversal.
His general interests outside work include cycling, golf, current affairs, history and sailing.
