Mr Stuart Moir is a Consultant Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon at BMI Ross Hall Hospital.
He is a graduate of Aberdeen University and trained in surgery in Newcastle and Aberdeen followed by a fellowship at the Orthopaedic & Arthritic Hospital, Toronto. He gained a Master of Surgery (ChM) degree by research from Aberdeen University and has a Diploma in Biomechanics from Strathclyde University.
He has been in NHS practice in Glasgow since 1998, initially at the Western Infirmary and Gartnavel General Hospital, and now at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Mr Moir has been carrying out elective adult foot and ankle surgery, almost exclusively, since coming to Glasgow and contributes to the trauma service at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
He is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopaedic foot and ankle problems, including ankle and foot pain and deformity, tendon and ligament disorders, arthritis, and trauma and sports injuries.
