Dr Joss Adams trained at St John’s College Cambridge and Addenbrookes Hospital. His specialist Oncology training was on rotation between the Oxford and the Berkshire Cancer Centres. He was appointed as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist in the Berkshire Cancer Centre in 2006.
Since being appointed, Dr Adams has implemented electronic chemotherapy prescribing in the Berkshire Cancer Centre, and is part of the network group rolling it out across the Thames Valley Cancer Network. He is Lead Clinician for Chemotherapy in the Berkshire Cancer Centre. Dr Adams has also implemented IMRT for breast cancer in the Berkshire Cancer Centre, and is involved in the development of stereotactic radiotherapy for lung cancer in the Berkshire Cancer Centre.
Dr Adams is a member of the Berkshire Oncology Partnership, which provides comprehensive non surgical cancer care, in the form of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, for patients across Berkshire. His interests are Beast, Lung and Upper Gastrointestinal cancers, and also Lymphomas.
