Personal profile

Mr Julian Rowe-Jones Consultant Rhinologist and Nasal Plastic Surgeon, FRCS (ORL) was educated at Marlborough College. He qualified in medicine at St. Thomas Hospital, London in 1986 and received his higher surgical training at St. George's Hospital, London and Charing Cross Hospital, London.

Since then, he has dedicated his surgical career to the functional and cosmetic treatment of the nose. He founded The Nose Clinic in 1998.

Training and Appointment

He is accredited by the Specialist Advisory Committee in Otorhinolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery and has been awarded certificates of specialist training by The Specialist Training Authority of the Medical Royal Colleges.

Additionally, Mr Rowe-Jones was awarded a travelling Fellowship in 1996 by the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgeons.  He is an associate editor of the Journal of Laryngology and Otology and an editorial board member of the journal International Rhinology.

Research and Publications

He referees peer review papers on nasal surgery for several other scientific journals including the Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery, has written numerous papers and has lectured extensively on topics related to nasal plastic surgery and sinus surgery in the UK, Europe, USA and Australia.
