I undertook my specialist training in Clinical Neurophysiology and Neurology departments at Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS trust. This included training in generic and specialist skills for example Nerve conduction, EMG, SFEMG, VT, EP and EEGs. To obtain further specialist experience I worked as a clinical assistant in University college London hospitals (National Neurology and great Ormond street hospitals). My previous appointments include substantive consultant post in St George’s hospital London before moving to North Yorkshire, one of the most beautiful counties in the country.
I have also acquired additional skills and experience by participating in international courses and conferences. These include a diploma course at Uppsala university Sweden and epilepsy surgery course at Cleveland clinic, USA. To keep my skills and knowledge up-to-date I regularly attend national and international meetings and conferences.
I enjoy spending time with family. We enjoy together cycling, mountain walking and playing badminton.
