Personal profile

Kath Pasco studied medicine at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical School in London. On qualifying she underwent junior doctor training in London and the South West, developing a specialist interest in medicine for older people and in stroke medicine. 

Kath has worked as a consultant at The Royal Surrey County Hospital since 2009, establishing the stroke service and with an interest in training and teaching of junior doctors. 

She enjoys working with the multi-professional team to support recovery from strokes and is looking forward to expanding her consultant experience by starting her private practice.

Clinical Interests

Kath has training and expertise to consult on all aspects of General Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Stroke. Her particular interest is in cerebrovascular health including the assessment of vascular risk and the diagnosis of TIA and Stroke versus mimics. Kath understands the complexities of ageing and health and how to balance and manage chronic health conditions in individuals.
