Personal profile

Dr Lowndes graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1996. She undertook physician training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia. Her specialist Haematology training was predominantly at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, and was completed in the Wessex deanery in 2010.

She was appointed as a consultant in Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust in 2010. Her main interest is in Haemato-oncology. She is currently the Clinical Lead for Chemotherapy at Hampshire Hospitals. She has an interest in general haematology, clinical research trials in haemato-oncology and trainee education.
