Mr Keshav Mathur trained at the Birmingham Orthopaedic Programme. He currently holds a fellowship in knee and shoulder surgery and specialises in joint replacements and key hole surgery. He has a special interest in sports injuries and routinely carries out stabilisation surgery for knee and shoulder ligament injuries.

Mr Mathur routinely performs partial knee and shoulder replacements and patient matched Total Knee Replacements. He also repairs knee cartilage injuries using new techniques including Autologous Cartilage Implantation.

He provides lunch time lectures to GP Practice teams on the topics of:


  • Sports Injuries to knee and shoulder and their management.

  • Advances in arthroscopic surgery.

  • Management of articular cartilage injuries.
