Personal Profile

Kevin qualified as a doctor from the University of Cambridge Medical School  where his interest in Reproductive Physiology was inspired by his teacher Professor Robert Edwards, who went on to win the Nobel Prize for his pioneering work in IVF. Following this, Kevin undertook his early postgraduate training at Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge. He then furthered his postgraduate training at The Hammersmith Hospital (Imperial College, London) where he worked with Lord Robert Winston an expert in Infertility.

Kevin followed this with further Specialist Training at Kings College Teaching Hospital London as a Registrar in O&G and then Research Fellow in the Menopause Clinic. He has published extensively on HRT and Menopause, in The Lancet, BMJ and British Journal of Obstetrics & Gynaecology etc. (see website www.SurreyGynaecology.Com). After Kings College, Kevin went on to become Clinical Lecturer and then Acting Senior Lecturer at St Mary’s Hospital (Paddington, London) Imperial College School of Medicine. At St Mary’s he was actively involved in the running of The Pelvic Pain Clinic with Prof Richard Beard and has published many papers on Pelvic Pain (see website)

He has continued his interests in Menopause and HRT and is a member of the British Menopause Society. Because of his special interests in Gynae Endocrinology (hormones) he sees and treats patients with Menstrual Disorders (heavy/painful periods, irregular periods, infrequent periods), Menopause, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome PCOS and PMS/PMDD – all of which are hormonally mediated and regulated.

Patients with Pelvic pain & endometriosis are also treated in his clinics

  • Many procedures are offered under local anaesthetic e.g. minor skin lesions, vulval lumps and swellings, hysteroscopy and Mirena
