Mr Khaldoon Wahab is a Consultant orthopaedic surgeon at The Priory & Edgbaston Hospital’s in Birmingham, his NHS bases include the Heartlands NHS Trust and Good Hope Hospital NHS Trust, where he currently regularly works.
Mr Wahab has an interest in joint reconstruction as well as specialising in treatment and surgery for the ankle, foot, hand, hip, knee, shoulder and wrist.
Mr Wahab trained in orthopaedics in the UK. He is a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh, and holds a Master’s degree from Birmingham University. He has completed advanced surgical fellowships and studies in joint reconstruction at university centres of excellence in Berne (Switzerland), Boston and Detroit (USA).
Mr Wahab’s research has been presented at national and international orthopaedic conferences and has been published in international orthopaedic journals. His work as a clinical teacher has included training junior doctors, lectures, supervision and examination of postgraduate doctors, and contribution to a university published clinical handbook.
