I worked as a consultant paediatrician in India before coming to the UK in 1997. I have had extensive experience in advanced and tropical paediatrics during my entire career and I also developed special interest in paediatric nephrology. I worked at hospitals from almost all the sections of United Kingdom during my training including University Hospital of Wales and Bristol Children’s Hospital where I had further training in paediatric nephrology.
I have been awarded with 7 discretionary points for my exceptional contribution to NHS and recently been awarded with a position of Associate Professor at St George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada.
I am actively involved in academic research and have also represented in many national and international conferences in paediatrics, the latest ones are International Congress of Paediatrics at Athens and Excellence in Paediatrics, Florence where I presented papers on ‘UTI in children’.
