Personal profile

Dr Bratis is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Manchester Roayl Infirmary. He specializes in non-invasive Cardiology with an expertise in cross-sectional Cardiac Imaging. 

He graduated from the University of Athens in 2003 and completed his training in Cardiology in France and in Greece. He spent significant part of his training as a research fellow in leading tertiary hospitals in London. He undertook research on the study of inflammatory and rare cardiac diseases with cardiac MRI and holds a PhD from the University of Athens on the application of stress perfusion CMR in diabetic cardiomyopathy. 

As well as all aspects of General Cardiology, he has a special interest in rheumatologic and haematologic conditions with cardiac involvement.
