Personal profile

Mr Serafeimidis graduated from Athens Medical School in 1998 and after working for 3 years as a junior doctor started his specialist surgical training at the 4th Department of General Surgery of Athens Medical School in Greece.

After receiving a robust training he successfully sat his fellowship exams in 2008. He has worked as a specialist general and breast surgeon for 4 years in Greece, 2 years in New Zealand and 2 years in the Fiji Islands. Since May 2016 he’s been working as a consultant general and laparoscopic surgeon at Withybush Hospital in Pembrokeshire. He holds vocational registration as a general surgeon in all these 4 countries.

He performs all the routine elective and emergency general surgery operations, laparoscopic procedures, hernia repairs, procedures for pilonidal sinus, vasectomies and additionally he has a special interest in breast surgery. Mr Serafeimidis has attended multiple surgical conferences and workshops, has presented papers in international and national congresses and also has published some of his work in renowned surgical journals.
