He also carries out facial plastic surgery including prominent ear correction (pinnaplasty or otoplasty), nose correction (rhinoplasty or septorhinoplasty) and treatment of facial lesions, concentrating mainly on skin cancer and reconstruction.
Mr Hollis qualified from Guy's Hospital Medical School. After passing the primary FRCS he undertook further surgical training in Oxford (Neurosurgery); Great Ormond Street (Paediatric ENT); The Royal Marsden (Head and Neck Surgery/Plastics); St Mary's (General ENT). He then returned to Oxford to undertake higher surgical training in ENT-Head and Neck Surgery. He was appointed as a Consultant ENT Surgeon in Worcestershire in 2003.
Teaching forms a significant part of Mr Hollis’ professional life. He teaches ENT and anatomy to the students of Worcester University studying professions allied to medicine. He also teaches anatomy at Oxford and Warwick Universities.
