Personal profile

Mr Parker's NHS practice is based in the foot and ankle unit of Barts Health NHS Trust (The Royal London and Newham University Hospital). He is experienced in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery having trained in tertiary referral foot and ankle units at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore and The Avon Orthopaedic Centre Bristol. 

He is a previous recipient of the W.J. Little Medal for his research and was awarded the European Foot and Ankle Society Travelling fellowship in 2014. He has authored several peer reviewed publications and book chapters about foot and ankle surgery and teaches regularly on post-graduate courses.

Clinical Interests

  • I specialise exclusively in surgical disorders of the foot and ankle ranging from cartilage, ligament and tendon surgery to ankle replacement, ankle and hindfoot fusion with arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgical approaches.
  • Bunion (hallux valgus), flat foot (pes planus) and high arch foot (pes cavus) correction. Post traumatic reconstruction and revision surgery.
