Personal profile

Ms Louise Coyle qualified as a Registered Dietician in 2000 after completing a BSc in Applied Consumer Science at Manchester Metropolitan University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics at Leeds Metropolitan University.

Ms Coyle has since worked in Acute Adult Dietetics at a number of NHS hospitals, including Rotherham District General and Stepping Hill Hospital. Here she broadened her expertise in adult general medicine, surgical support and weight loss surgery. As a leader in innovative care provision, Louise was part of a team that established active patient-led support groups, developed and implemented nutritional screening tools and provided hospital-wide training on therapeutic diets.

In 2003 Ms Coyle began work in the private sector and in 2011 herself and Mrs Alison Whitworth set up LA Dieticians as a partnership to provide specialist clinical dietetic services.
