Dr Lucy Maw

Dr Lucy Maw qualified from St George’s Hospital Medical School, London in 1995. She completed her general practice training and gained membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2000.

Dr Maw is a partner at the Spa Surgery, Harrogate, where she has worked since 2003 and has been associated with The Duchy Hospital, Harrogate since 2011, initially undertaking health screening services. She has extensive experience in general practice, NHS-related work and teaches undergraduate medical students.

Dr Maw has an interest in women’s health and family planning and holds diplomas from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and The Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. She enjoys walking her dogs and playing tennis

Dr Maw has 22 years’ experience as a GP in Yorkshire. She lives and works in Harrogate and has an interest in all aspects of general practice services. She has a focus in health screening, well woman and well man, STD screening and medical examinations for overseas employment and insurance.Dr Maw is also trained to fit and remove both contraceptive implants and intrauterine contraceptive devices.
