Personal profile

Lynn Baker qualified in 1979 from Coventry Orthoptic Training School. She undertook further qualifications becoming a qualified Teacher of Orthoptics in 1985 and gained a Masters in 1997. 

She has worked for Manchester Royal Eye Hospital since 1983 both clinically and in an education role. In 1995 she also became a Lecturer in Orthoptics at Sheffield University. Working at both Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and Sheffield University has given her a wide range of experience in all aspects of visual function, strabismus and binocular vision.
