Dr Mandy Forbes undertook her Clinical Training at the University of Edinburgh. She has experience working in mental health and also with patients experiencing psychological difficulties related to their physical health, such as chronic pain, cancer, cardiac problems etc.
Dr Forbes has also worked with Emergency Organisations providing Trauma Facilitation Training and with Private/Public organisations providing stress management. She is the former Lead of Clinical Health Psychology for NHS Tayside and has taught medical and other students at The Universities of St Andrews and Dundee.
Dr Forbes has a special interest in psychology related to sport and has worked with a number of professional athletes.
She has a number of years’ experience serving on national and local Psychology committees and is EMDR trained.
