Personal profile

Mr Phillips is a senior hand surgeon with a particular interest in trauma to the hand & wrist. He was an NHS Consultant at King’s College Hospital from 2003-2015 where he was Ortho-Plastics lead, Governance lead for Major Trauma, and had a research interest in fracture healing.

Trained in Cambridge University and King’s College Hospital, he then did trauma and hand fellowships in the University of Pisa and the Plastic Surgery department of Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead respectively. He initially took a Consultant post in Greenwich in 2001 before moving to King’s.

He now consults in BMI clinics across London and has BMI admission rights for surgery in Hendon, Beckenham and Blackheath. He is currently the trauma and clinical best practice lead within London Sports Orthopaedics in the City.
