Having been a Consultant in Guildford for 18 years, Mr Kissin has maintained the profile of the Breast Unit to be at the highest possible standard both nationally and internationally. With continuing research, publications and lecture tours, particularly into sentinal node biopsy, Guildford has become the home of the sentinal node.
Mr Kissin has treated more than 5000 new breast cancer patients, 750 latissimus dorsi flaps, 1500 sentinal node biopsies, and leads a multidisciplinary team of national repute. He was educated in Cambridge and the Middlesex Hospital, and trained in Bristol, Royal Marsden, Northwick Park and Melbourne.
Mr Kissin is the quality assurance surgeon for breast disease for South East England and is therefore passionate about standards and excellence of care.
