Michael Graham trained at St Andrew’s University, Scotland and in 1981 was awarded the prestigious international Bobby Jones scholarship to Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Here he spent a year undertaking medical research and scientific medical studies.
He continued his training at Kings College, Cambridge University in 1983 before beginning his surgical training at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge in 1986 and carrying the training on at The Royal Marsden and The Rowley Bristow Orthopaedic Hospital. In 1989 Mr Graham became a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of England. Following this he spent 2 years undertaking medical research into breast cancer, leading to the award of a Master of Surgeon degree at Cambridge University.
In October 1996 he was appointed as Consultant Surgeon at Dorset County Hospital, Dorchester. Here he worked as a Consultant Breast Onco-Plastic Surgeon and was the lead clinician for Breast Cancer Services. Retiring from the NHS in 2011, Mr Graham now focuses on his private work here at BMI The Winterbourne Hospital as a full-time Consultant Specialist Cosmetic & Breast Surgeon.
