Personal profile

Mr Ali Fazal completed a six year higher surgical training programme in Trauma and orthopaedics based at the University College Hospital, London.

He became a Fellow of the Royal College Surgeons of England in 1993 followed by the Fellowship of the Intercollegiate board for Trauma and orthopaedics, FRCS (Tr and Orth) in 1998. He then undertook Trauma fellowship in Switzerland.

After completion of advanced training he worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Lower Limb reconstruction unit at University College Hospital and later joined Barnet &Chase Farm Hospitals in 2006. He has published numerous research papers and has presented his work at national and international meetings.

He is an examiner for Final Year MBBS at UCL Medical School London, Intercollegiate MRCS and FRCS Orthopaedics.
