Alongside his consultancy work, he works as an investigator in clinical trials for lower urinary tract disorders and regularly presents his research at national and international meetings. He has been published extensively with over 80 peer-reviewed articles, 20 book chapters and 2 books.
Mr Osman is a member of the European Association of Urology (EAU) where he sits on the urethral stricture guideline panel and writes guidelines that urologists across Europe follow. In 2019, he was chosen as one of only three urologists in Europe selected for the prestigious EAU-AUA academic exchange program, which involved visiting centres across the USA to further his expertise.
