Personal profile

Neil is a Paediatric ENT surgeon. He graduated from Nottingham University Medical School in 1993 and trained in ENT in both Nottingham and Sheffield, with additional experience in Lyon, France.

His practice in ear, nose and throat surgery, NHS and private, is entirely paediatric. As well having expertise and experience in general paediatric ENT problems, he has particular specialist interests in paediatric airway and head and neck surgery, intracapsular tonsillectomy, ear reconstruction and prominent ear surgery.

He has previously been Honorary Secretary and now sits on the council of the British Association for Paediatric Otolaryngology, is a faculty member of the British Paediatric Otolaryngology Course, is the Chairman of Smith and Nephew’s UK/Europe Coblation tonsillectomy training course, is course director for the ENT-UK Paediatric Emergency Skills Course for Consultants, and is an examiner for the European Board Examinations for Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.
