Mr Neil Modi completed medical school at Guy's and St Thomas' Medical School in London. He went on to further specialise in Ophthalmology, gaining fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in 2014.
Mr Modi has completed over 1,000 cataract operations including complex cases and has expertise in using a wide range of intraocular lenses. He has further subspecialist expertise in glaucoma and oculoplastic (eyelid) surgery.
He practices as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey, where he is responsible for training future eye surgeons and also acts as the lead for Ophthalmic lasers and the emergency eye care service.
Mr Modi has written the textbook 'Basic Science in Ophthalmology,' published by Oxford University Press and is the surgical simulation training lead for the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Ophthalmology training programme.
