Mr Hill has been a Consultant Gynaecologist at The Princess Royal University Hospital, Orpington for 19 years. He has written nearly 50 publications on a diverse range of gynaecological subjects having done his MD at Oxford. He has a major interest in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. He has reported one of the largest series in the United Kingdom of laparoscopic sub-total hysterectomies having performed over 500 cases.

He performs this operation as a day case in his base hospital.

He has extensive experience in the laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis and has recently travelled widely developing the new PlasmaJet treatment of this condition. He has great experience in the hysteroscopic management of heavy periods and endometrial resection.

He has pioneered the operation of vaginal repair under local anaesthetic and conscious sedation and has published widely on the subject. He performs the latest (TVTO-Abbrevo) surgery for urinary incontinence with high success rates. He is an accredited trainer for hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery and an accredited colposcopy trainer.
