Personal profile

Mr Bryan is a Consultant Urologist at Huddersfield Hospital. Having qualified at St Thomas’s Hospital in London, he had a number of basic surgical training posts in and around London and Sheffield, including Hammersmith and The Royal Marsden Hospital.

He gained his FRCS and specialised in Urology with his research taking place in Sheffield, gaining an MD in Neuromodulation of the bladder- a treatment for incontinence. His specialist Urology training was in the Yorkshire region but included a fellowship in Pelvic Cancer Surgery at the Christie in Manchester. He was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at both Halifax and Huddersfield in March 2005. 

He continues to develop urology cancer surgery both locally and regionally, and is Vice Chairman of the Urology section of the Yorkshire Cancer Network. Mr Bryan has also published extensively, including chapters in several books. 

At Huddersfield Hospital, Mr Bryan consults for a number of urological problems such as; prostate disease including prostate cancer; lower urinary tract symptoms; female urology; urinary stones; Urinary Tract Infections (UTI’s); scrotal surgery and vasectomy's. 

Mr Bryan sees both insured and self-funding patients, GP referral letters are not required.
