Mr Nigel Corner completed his medical Education at the Charing Cross Hospital Medical School (now Imperial College) London and had his early training in London becoming a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1981 and a Fellow in 1986.
Experience was in General, Emergency and Military surgery with service in the Falkland Islands, Rwanda (civil war) the Gulf war and the Afghanistan war.
Within the generality of surgery Mr Corner's specialisation was in Vascular and Breast surgery.
He was first appointed as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon in 1992 in Woolwich, London. He has been a Consultant General & Vascular Surgeon at the Darlington Memorial Hospital since 1997.
