Personal profile

Dr Omar Din qualified from the University of Sheffield in 1997 and completed his postgraduate training in Clinical Oncology at Weston Park Cancer Centre in 2007. Dr Din undertook a Clinical Research Fellowship in Breast Cancer Endocrine Therapy 2008-10, leading to the award of an MD (University of Sheffield).

Dr Din was then appointed substantive Consultant and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Clinical Oncology 2010, focussing on Urological and Breast Cancers.


Dr Din has interests in Urological and Breast malignancies, clinical trials and advanced radiotherapy techniques (including SABR – Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy). He is Lead Clinician for Radiotherapy Services at Weston Park Cancer Centre.
