Personal Profile

Dr Onajite Kousin-Ezewu is a Consultant Neurologist in Milton Keynes, seeing adult patients with neurological disorders including migraines, blackouts, epilepsy, TIAs (mini-strokes), stroke, Parkinson’s disease and Multiple Sclerosis.

Qualifying in 2007, he has completed several years training at University of Cambridge and at various hospitals around the country including Addenbrooke’s and The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen’s Square in London. Dr Kousin-Ezewu now works as a Consultant at Milton Keynes University Hospital in Buckinghamshire where he has been since August 2018.

His main research interest is in Multiple Sclerosis and as such he is the lead for Multiple Sclerosis at Milton Keynes University Hospital.

He is also happy to see patients suffering from headache and can administer new injectable treatments for headache management such as greater occipital nerve injections and the calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP) antagonists Erenumab (Aimovig), Fremanezumab (Ajoy) and Galcanezumab (Emgality). He is also willing to see patients suffering from long term neurological symptoms post COVID-19 infection.  

In addition to his clinical work Dr Kousin-Ezewu has published many papers in international medical journals and has spoken on these subjects at local, regional and international meetings. 

He enjoys teaching and completed the post graduate certificate in medical education at the University of Cambridge, later using this expertise to teach medical students from the University of Oxford and Buckingham.

Outside of neurology Dr Kousin-Ezewu is a family man and has two children. He is very interested in sports and (when allowed by his children) follows his beloved Surrey county cricket club and the Arsenal very closely.
