  • Ulnar nerve entrapment at the wrist (Guyon's Canal Syndrome) at the elbow (Cubical Tunnel Syndrome)
  • Common Peroneal, Sciatic, Femoral and Radial nerve entrapment neuropathy
  • Traumatic nerve injuries
  • Peripheral polyneuropathy
  • Radiculopathy/ Plexopathy
  • Myopathy/ Myositis
  • Motor Neuron Disorder
  • Neuromuscular Junction Disorder

Personal profile

Dr Sedaghat has been working in the field of Neurophysiology since 1998. She obtained the Specialty Board Certificate in Electro-diagnostic Medicine in Iran and practiced as a Consultant in Shiraz University of Medical Sciences.

Since 2005 she has been working at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW) and has gained years of experience in wide range of neurophysiological investigations. Dr Sedaghat has always been eager to keep up to date with advancements within this diagnostic field. She provided Single Fiber Electromyography service for the first time at UHCW.

She is active in teaching and introducing this amazing field to the senior and junior doctors in different specialties. She conducts audits and participates in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety activities within the Trust and the region.
